
Whenever a customer hits on the right blend they have a product that ids unique to them and them alone. It becomes a product that no one els has. Many times customers tell me that people will ask them where they acquired the fragrance but they refuse to tell them.
Top notes: also known as high notes or the main scent are the predominant scent in your blend and is the first aroma that your nose detects and is the first scent to fade.
Middle notes: also known as the blenders they are the additional scents that are added to enhance the main scent; this is the second scent that your nose will detect and also the second to fade. The middle note is normally called the heart of the fragrance and is the way that people remember the fragrance.
Bottom notes: also known as contrasting scents, are used to liven up the blend and are the last scents that your nose will detect. The bottom notes are used to hold the fragrance together as the ingredients begin to fade away.
Just remember to blend fragrance oils in a glass container before adding them to your handmade soap or bath body and spa products. Experiment with different blends of fragrance oils.
